Herman van Volsem

Herman Van Volsem is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in architectural roles and leadership within the financial services industry. Currently serving as Principal Architect at Bupa since September 2023, Herman also co-founded BizzCtrl Ltd, where the role of Chief Technology Officer has been held since June 2021. Previously, Herman was Lead Architect at HSBC from January 2015 to September 2023, alongside various solution architect positions at Barclays, Xchanging, and Aviva. Herman's earlier career included serving as Managing Director at SOAgile Ltd and Vice President at JPMorgan. Herman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Katholieke Hogeschool Leuven, earned between 1992 and 1995.
