Ian Barrett

Ian Barrett, ACA, has extensive experience in finance, currently serving as Head of Group FP&A and Head of Finance Operations at Bupa since May 2017. Ian's previous roles at Bupa include Performance Messaging Manager and Senior Global Accountant in the Group Financial Reporting Team. Prior to Bupa, Ian worked at HSBC as Finance Manager for Group Insurance and at Friends Life UK as a Group Finance Analyst. Ian's career began at PwC, where positions included Assistant Manager and Associate. Early experience includes internships at The American Ireland Fund and GE Money. Ian Barrett holds an ACA degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland and a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies with a specialization in Finance from Dublin City University.
