Ian Culligan

Ian Culligan is an experienced healthcare professional with a diverse background in physiotherapy and healthcare management. Currently serving as the Head of Health and Environment at Bupa since January 2017, Ian has advanced from roles such as Senior Hospital Contract Executive and Healthcare Change Manager within the organization. Prior to this, Ian held the position of Chair at the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Respiratory Care and worked as a Consultant in Healthcare at PA Consulting. Ian's experience also includes serving as a Specialist Respiratory Physiotherapist at NHS Wirral, where responsibilities included leading the Pulmonary Rehabilitation team. Ian's career began in junior roles at Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust and Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, alongside a stint as a professional rugby player with London Irish Rugby Club. Ian holds a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Coventry University.
