Ian Harley

Ian Harley is a highly accomplished strategic leader with extensive experience operating at the Board level. Currently serving as the Chief Control & Governance Officer at Bupa Insurance Limited, Ian leads a team of 350 specialists focused on quality assurance, risk management, and governance. Ian also holds board positions with Climate Action Strathaven and Circular Communities Scotland. Prior roles include Director of UK Customer, Risk & Governance at Bupa and Senior Audit Manager at Prudential Assurance, where Ian demonstrated a commitment to regulatory compliance and continuous improvement. Ian earned an MSc in Computer Based Information Systems from the University of Sunderland and a BA (Hons) in Law from the University of Durham.
