Paul Schuster

Paul Schuster serves as the Chief Technology Officer for Bupa Global and Bupa UK since July 2023. Prior to this role, Paul held the position of Chief Architect for Wholesale Digital Channels at HSBC from November 2019 to July 2023. Their extensive experience includes serving as Chief Architect for Digital Platforms and Director of Shared Services Architecture at bp from August 2012 to November 2019. Additionally, Paul was the Director of Planning & Operational Excellence and Head of Enterprise IT Architecture at Nokia between June 2008 and July 2012. Earlier roles at Intel Corporation spanned from May 1993 to May 2008, where Paul contributed as Regional Manager, Group Leader, and Systems Engineer. Paul began their career as a Trainee Actuary at Towers Watson from June 1989 to March 1991. Educationally, Paul holds an MBA in Management from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Kent, and a BSc in Economics from the University of Bristol.
