John Laslavic is the CEO and Founder of Burai, a venture launched in 2023, and brings over 25 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, and software industries. As a serial entrepreneur, John has founded and led multiple successful companies focusing on product lifecycle management, cloud data management, and customer engagement. Notably, John sold Upchain, a cloud-based PLM platform, to Autodesk in 2021, subsequently serving as Sr Director of Business Strategy to enhance Autodesk’s cloud offerings. With a background that includes leadership roles at Siemens, Husky Injection Molding, and Productbase Ltd, alongside collaborations with major corporations like Boeing and BMW, John's expertise in manufacturing process improvement is widely recognized.
