Carsten Baumgardt

Carsten Baumgardt has extensive experience in media and editorial roles, currently serving as Chef vom Dienst at FOCUS online since April 2020 and as Senior Editor and Product Manager for Verticals at BurdaForward since April 2022. Prior to these positions, Carsten worked at Webedia as Chefredakteur of FILMSTARTS.de for over a decade and co-founded the site FILMSTARTS.de GbR, where Carsten also served as Redaktionsleiter. Earlier roles include editorial positions at Overtime Media GbR and Axel Springer, along with a formative internship at Rotenburger Rundschau. Carsten holds a degree from HSB Hochschule Bremen – City University of Applied Sciences, completed between 1995 and 1998.
