Jan Schenk

Jan Schenk is an accomplished meteorologist with extensive experience in weather reporting and geoscience. They served as Chief Meteorologist at FOCUS Online and have held leadership roles, including Head of The Weather Channel Germany since 2021. Jan previously founded and managed MeteoTrack GmbH, applying deep learning to aviation weather forecasting. They also contributed to the Bundeswehr as Head and Deputy Head of GeoInformation. Jan earned a Diplom-Verwaltungsbetriebswirt degree in Meteorology from the Federal University of Applied Administrative Sciences.
