Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a proven track record in developing collaborative solutions, particularly in the field of educational technology. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has progressed from a firmware engineer to an electrical engineer, focusing on the development of hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and various educational devices. Prior experience includes working as an electronics contractor for Science Alberta Foundation, where electronics design and repair were key responsibilities, and serving as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary. Chris began a career in electronics engineering at Grindcom, contributing to control systems for forestry equipment. An M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering were obtained from the University of Calgary and DeVry Institute of Technology, respectively.
