Ben Schmierer

Ben Schmierer has a diverse work experience. Ben is currently the Director of Procurement at Burlington Stores, Inc. since August 2023, and previously served as the Senior Procurement Manager from September 2020 to September 2023. Before joining Burlington Stores, Inc., Ben worked as a Sourcing Manager at FMC Corporation from May 2018 to September 2020, where they successfully implemented sourcing strategies resulting in significant cost savings and working capital benefits. Prior to that, they held various roles at Braskem, including Supply Chain Planner, Logistics Analyst, Procurement Associate, and Commercial Associate, between June 2013 and May 2018. Ben also gained experience as a Supply Network Planner (Co-op and continued part-time) at McNeil Consumer Healthcare from September 2011 to May 2012, and as a Supplier Data Management Co-op at Arkema from September 2010 to March 2011. Ben started their career as an Assistant Manager Co-op at the Philadelphia Housing Authority from September 2009 to March 2010.

Ben Schmierer attended Drexel University from 2008 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Their studies focused on Operations Management and Accounting, and they also pursued a minor in Communications.
