Steve Curran

Steve Curran has over 30 years of experience in various roles within the creative and technology industries. Steve is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Burn Ghost, a web3 casual game platform that focuses on community, competition, and prizes. Prior to this, they founded Day 8 Labs, where they specialized in strategy and creative development for emerging and immersive media, including augmented reality, virtual reality, AI, and voice technology. Steve has also advised and invested in Earplay, Inc., a company focused on interactive audio storytelling, and served as the CEO of ROAR Augmented Reality Platform from 2017 to 2020. Earlier in their career, they founded Pod Digital Design, a production company that created branded entertainment, online games, and viral marketing campaigns for major clients. Steve later joined Connelly Partners as the Executive Creative Director of the mobile and innovation unit, leading award-winning projects for various well-known companies. Steve has also authored a book on motion graphics and held the position of Vice President and Creative Director at Gametek. Overall, their work experience showcases their expertise in interactive media, gaming, augmented reality, and strategic leadership.

Steve Curran attended Pittsford Sutherland High School from 1979 to 1983. Steve then pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design at Syracuse University from 1983 to 1987.
