Mark Palmquist

Mark Palmquist, P.E. is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in project management and civil engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Capital Projects at Burnham RNG since February 2022, Mark oversees the engineering and construction of renewable natural gas projects, emphasizing project execution and management. Prior to this role, Mark managed significant construction projects across various organizations, including the North Carolina Department of Public Safety, Enviva, and Oceaneering, where responsibilities ranged from project estimating and scheduling to civil structural assessments. Mark has extensive experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, notably as part of Fluor Corporation's team on a major iron ore mine project in Guinea, as well as numerous projects supporting military efforts in Iraq. Mark holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering and Management from North Carolina State University.
