Darrell Widner

Darrell Widner is a seasoned professional in the energy and power sector, currently serving as the Director of Power & Utilities at Burns Engineering, Inc. since January 2024. Prior to this role, Darrell spent over a decade at Jacobs, where positions included Geographic Director of Projects for Energy & Power in the Americas and Manager of Projects. Darrell’s earlier experience includes serving as Vice President and Lead Electrical Engineer at Page Southerland Page, LLP, as well as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Stanley Consultants, where responsibilities encompassed project management, cost estimation, and design of electrical systems. Darrell began a career in the industry as an Electrical Engineer with Houston Light and Power, focusing on planning and reliability in underground power distribution. Darrell holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
