Sara Fields

Sara Fields, CPA, is the Federal Government Compliance Manager at Burns & McDonnell, with extensive experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry. Previously, they served as an auditor and later a supervisory auditor at the Defense Contract Audit Agency from 2006 to 2012, overseeing audit programs and team performance. A graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, Sara has a solid foundation in accounting principles and government contracting. They possess strong skills in Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and financial accounting.
