Andre Parnther

Associate Technical Designer at Buro Happold

Andre Parnther is a trained architect and technical façade leader who has more than 17 years of experience engineering often complex, landmark building envelopes.

Andre provides expert façade investigation and consulting services through all phases of his projects, with building typologies that include historic and new residential, commercial, college and university, hospital and healthcare and dormitory facilities.

As a certified Structural Masonry Special Inspector by the International Code Council, Andre is an expert in his field and has lectured and presented at a number of national conferences including Facades+, the Roof Consultants Institute and International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants.

Andre is currently working on a number of iconic projects including the glass turtle shell-shaped dome on Union Square’s landmarked Tammany Hall building as well as building One and Three at Waterline Square in Manhattan’s Upper West Side, which combined includes nearly 900,000ft2 of luxury residential units, and a high-performance glass façade engineered for maximum thermal comfort for its occupants.

Having been with Buro Happold for nearly a decade, Andre has delivered numerous successful, award-winning projects and continues to work with his clients to provide expert façade engineering advice in an engaging and collaborative manner.
