Andy Murdoch

With over 25 years experience across a broad field of urban, civil engineering and transportation work for public and private sector clients, Andy has been involved in projects ranging from transport impact assessments for modest developments to engineering major infrastructure schemes.

He also has experience in structural engineering and a keen interest in urban design.

Born and educated in South Africa, Andy joined Buro Happold in 2000 and is currently Director for our Civil Infrastructure business in our London office. There he has played a key role in enhancing the team’s capabilities in responding to complex urban and civil engineering challenges.

As a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, Andy is currently leading the consultancy’s work on civil infrastructure, as well making a significant contribution to our international masterplanning work in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
