Mei Ren is an accomplished professional in the field of building physics and environmental design, currently serving as a Partner at Buro Happold since May 2011. Previously, Mei held the position of Regional Director at AECOM from 2004 to 2011 and worked as a Senior Consultant at BuroHappold Engineering between 2000 and 2004. An earlier career included roles as an Engineer at Arup from 1997 to 2000 and as a Researcher at Building Research Establishment Limited in 1992-1993. Mei Ren earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Building Physics from Loughborough University and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng Hons) in Built Environment, Thermal Engineering, Building Physics, and HVAC Design from Tsinghua University.
