Paul Malpas

Paul Malpas is a seasoned professional with over 35 years of experience in specialist design services for the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. They have a strong background in acoustics and technology for performance spaces, underscoring a commitment to interdisciplinary design for positive impact. Paul graduated with a B.Eng in Electroacoustics from the University of Salford in 1990 and obtained a Master's in Interdisciplinary Design from Cambridge University. They worked at Arup for 17 years and have held leadership positions at various companies, including COMS and Engineered Acoustic Designs Ltd. Currently, Paul serves as a Principal at Buro Happold, where they lead teams on ambitious audio-visual solutions.
