Stephen Jolly

Stephen Jolly is a Partner and Head of the Cultural Sector at BuroHappold Engineering, where they lead multidisciplinary teams in designing impactful projects like the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and the Louvre Abu Dhabi. With a passion for enhancing the cultural experience, they focus on creating spaces for the visual and performing arts while also contributing to the Commercial sector, notably through the Mayfield Masterplan in Manchester. Jolly holds a Master’s Degree in Energy and the Built Environment from Cranfield University and a 1st Class Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from The University of Manchester. Prior to their current role, they were an engineer at Arup from 1988 to 2003.
