Stephen Salomon

Stephen Salomon, PE, is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in HVAC design and project management. Currently serving as Principal at Buro Happold since September 2019, Stephen previously held roles as Project Manager and Senior Mechanical Engineer at Weston & Sampson, where oversight of HVAC projects encompassed field investigations, engineering calculations, and interdisciplinary design coordination. Previous positions include Senior Mechanical Engineer at TRO, leading HVAC system designs, and at SMMA, where Stephen contributed to energy simulation projects and served as a mentor to junior staff. With a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Stephen's technical expertise spans energy modeling, systems design, and construction administration within multiple engineering firms since 2008.
