Macarthur Tan

Macarthur Tan has held various positions in the financial and business sectors. In 2010, they began their career as a Summer Intern at KPMG Singapore. Macarthur then moved to Moore Stephens in 2012 as a Senior Associate, where they audited a wide range of companies and assessed the sustainability of business clients. In 2014, they joined KordaMentha as a Senior Executive Analyst, where they assessed operational and business strategies of an oil and gas company and conducted forensic investigations. In 2018, they joined Blue Ocean Capital Partners as an Associate Director. In 2020, they took on two roles: President - Executive Director at Burpple and Non Executive Non independent Director at Metech International Ltd. In their roles, they have overseen and ensured day to day business activities run smoothly, managed cashflow and funding of the Company, secured strategic partnerships, developed and directed organizational strategy, drafted organizational policies and philosophies, and engaged with community groups.

Macarthur Tan attended the University of London from 2008 to 2012 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Accounting and Finance. Prior to that, they attended Anglo-Chinese Junior College from 2004 to 2005.
