Chris Plunkett

Chris Plunkett is the Senior Vice President and National Technology Sector Lead at Burson, where they work with leading technology companies in Canada to enhance their communication and manage policy issues. With over twenty years of experience in the public and private sectors, Chris has held various leadership positions, including Foreign Service Officer at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Counsellor (Public Affairs) at the Embassy of Canada in Washington, DC. They have a strong focus on the tech sector, particularly in the Toronto-Waterloo Corridor, and have played key roles in advocating for initiatives like the Global Talent Stream. Chris holds a degree from Queen's University.
