Matthew Harris

Matthew Harris is the Managing Director at Barton Deakin Government Relations, a role they have held since 2024. Previously, they served as State Director for The Nationals Victoria from 2017 to 2024 and held several positions within the Australian Government, including Senior Adviser and Chief of Staff. Matthew also has experience as a Manager at London and Oxford Capital Markets and Barclays Bank, and they worked as a Director in Global Corporate and Public Affairs at Burson starting in 2025. They earned a BSc (Hons) in Physics from the University of Kent from 1997 to 2001.
