Beverly Wright Ph.D.

Beverly Wright, PhD, CAP is currently the Head of Data Science at Burtch Works since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Academic Program Director of Data Science at The University of Georgia starting in September 2019. Beverly also served as the Executive Director and Clinical Professor at the Center for Applied Business Analytics at the University of South Carolina from June 2020 to June 2022. Beverly has held leadership positions such as Chief Analytics Strategist at Axis Group from June 2020 to March 2022 and Chief Data Science Advisor/VP Partner of Data Science at RelationalAI from April 2019 to June 2020. Beverly was also the Chief Analytics Officer/Partner at Aspirent from September 2017 to April 2019. Additionally, Beverly held the role of Executive Director at the Analytics Center at Georgia Institute of Technology from July 2015 to June 2018 and served as the Vice President of Analytics and Director at BKV from November 2014 to July 2015. Beverly has also worked at Cox Communications as an Advanced Analytics Manager from July 2014 to November 2014 and at SunTrust Bank as the Voice of Client Analytics in the role of First Vice President from July 2013 to June 2014.

Beverly Wright, PhD, CAP has an extensive education history. Beverly started their academic journey in 1987 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Decision Sciences from Georgia State University. Continuing their pursuit of knowledge, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Analytical Methods from the same institution, graduating in 1994. In order to further specialize in their field, Beverly went on to complete a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Marketing (Science) from Georgia State University, which they completed in 2005.
