Amanda Nobbe is a seasoned product developer with extensive experience in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as a Lead Development Scientist at Burt's Bees since January 2015, Amanda excels in balancing formula performance, aesthetics, safety, stability, cost, claims, and timelines. Amanda established a cross-functional sensory panel to enhance decision-making regarding product delight, performance, and production efficiency. Prior to Burt's Bees, Amanda held roles as an R&D Chemist at KDC | Columbus, a Research Services Scientist at Abbott Nutrition, a Research Associate at MetalloPharm, and a Chemist at Boehringer Ingelheim. Educational qualifications include a certificate in Applied Sensory and Consumer Science from the University of California, Davis, a Master's Degree in Pharmaceutical Science with an emphasis in Cosmetic Science from the University of Cincinnati, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from Ohio University.
