Local, sustainable, hand-picked, milled and dried timber with a low carbon footprint and minimal environmental impact!

Burty's Timber is a family-run business in central Scotland, offering top-quality timber sourced from the heart of our local forests.

We focus on providing unique, character-rich wood, much of which comes from older trees, including wind-fallen and naturally discarded timber, that might otherwise go to waste.

Specialising in saw milling, machining, round timber, and bespoke timber products, we cater to a variety of clients, from carpenters and cabinet makers to DIY enthusiasts and commercial businesses.

Our commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship is at the core of everything we do, ensuring that our timber products support both craftsmanship and ecological responsibility.

What sets us apart is the distinctive quality of our wood – shaped by the rugged conditions of Scottish forests. Each piece tells its own story through unique markings and patterns, offering an unmatched level of character for your project.

At Burty's Timber, we’re driven by the goal of reducing waste and ensuring that every piece of timber is respected and put to its best use, all while supporting our local environment and community.

Let us help bring your projects to life with timber that’s as sustainable as it is beautiful.
