Michael Vial has over 10 years of work experience in software engineering. From 2007 to 2008, they worked as a Full Stack Developer at BRANIGAN INTERACTIVE LTD. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as a Full Stack Developer at 24h00, where they were responsible for the migration of the legacy HTML4 website into a cleaner version using XHTML/CSS, the development and industrialization of an in-house web framework for creating new sale pages, and the evolution and maintenance of an emailing system that handled more than 4 million emails. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Software Engineer at Dailymotion, where they were responsible for ad integrations in the HTML5 player, supporting IAB specifications (VAST, VPAID, VMAP) and third-party SDKs (Google IMA, LiveRail), and delivering 50 million ads per day. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at Busbud, where they held the roles of Full Stack Developer, Senior Tech Lead, and Engineering Manager. As a Full Stack Developer, they were responsible for the Front-End integration of a newly acquired company (NeredenNereye) and the development of localized features for the Turkish market, improving purchase conversion by 50% in 6 months. As a Senior Tech Lead, they led a squad responsible for the product experience on the website, collaborated with project managers and designers to define and prioritize the work, and was hands-on developing the solution with the team. As an Engineering Manager, they were responsible for leading the engineering team and overseeing the development of the product.

Michael Vial completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Web Technologies from Oxford Brookes University between 2004 and 2006, and a DUT in Informatique from Université Grenoble Alpes between 2002 and 2004.
