Rui Mendes has a wealth of experience in software engineering, beginning in 2010 when they worked as a Researcher at INESC Porto. In 2013, they worked as a Research & Development Consultant at AMT Consulting Lda and a Mobile Developer at ITSector. In 2014, they were a Mobile Application Developer (Outsourcer) at Bank Millennium. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as an Android Software Engineer at CASHYT, a Senior Android Developer at WeTek, and a Software Engineer Manager and Android Team Lead at Hostelworld Group. Most recently, Rui has been a Senior Software Engineer - Android at Busbud since 2021.
Rui Mendes obtained a Licentiate degree in Computer Science from Universidade do Porto between 2006 and 2010, followed by a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same university between 2010 and 2012.
