John Hinckley

John Hinckley is a highly skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in design, analysis, and testing. Currently serving as the Director of Design and Analysis at Busek since April 2018, John specializes in designing Hall Effect Thrusters using SolidWORKS and conducting vibrational and structural analysis with ANSYS. Previous experience includes a role as a Test Engineer at DEKA Research & Development, where John executed performance testing and maintained detailed records, and multiple internships at MKS Inc. focused on HALT Testing, quality assurance, and the development of testing machinery. John began his career as an Engineering Assistant at Proto-Pac Engineering, where assembly of circuit boards was a key responsibility. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
