Chip Jorstad

President Of Credit And Bank Administration at Busey

Chip Jorstad has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Chip started their career at First Midwest Bank in 2002 as an Assistant Vice President and worked there until 2007. Following that, they joined the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as the Director of Advancement for a period of four years. In 2011, they returned to Busey and held positions of Senior Vice President and Executive Vice President until 2015. After a brief stint at JSM Commercial as the Director of Commercial Real Estate, they rejoined Busey as the Commercial Regional President from 2017 to 2020. Later, they became the Chief Banking Officer and, most recently, the President of Credit and Bank Administration.

Chip Jorstad has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they completed from 1998 to 2002. Chip also obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2009 to 2011.
