Matthew Thompson, CAMS, possesses extensive experience in financial crime investigation and anti-money laundering (AML) compliance, having worked in various roles since 2010. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Management, and Legal Studies from Saginaw Valley State University, Matthew has served as a BSA AML Investigations Supervisor at First Merchants Corporation and led BSA Investigations teams at Level One Bank. Previous positions include Anti Money Laundering Investigator at State Farm and KYC Analyst at The Bancorp. Currently, Matthew is a Senior Financial Crimes Investigator at Busey. A background in security roles further enhances expertise in ensuring compliance and managing investigations related to financial crimes.
