Michael Porter is a seasoned global senior executive with extensive experience as a Chief Audit Executive and a proven track record of driving business and technology risk transformations. Currently serving as the Executive Vice President and Chief Audit Executive at Busey, they have previously held leadership roles at EY, where they were a Partner in National Risk Transformation, overseeing large projects and building trusted client relationships. Michael’s expertise spans internal audit, cybersecurity, risk management, and regulatory compliance across sectors such as financial services, healthcare, and manufacturing. They are presently pursuing a Master's degree in Professional Accountancy at Clemson University.
