Rob Schwartz

Rob Schwartz serves as the SVP Commercial Market President at Busey since March 2020, following a tenure as SVP Community Banking at Busey Bank from October 2019 to March 2020. With extensive experience in the banking sector, Rob held the position of SVP - Retail Banking at The Bank of Edwardsville from October 2005 to October 2019, overseeing the growth of Retail and Business Banking across 18-20 branch offices. Previously, Rob was an SVP at Regions Bank from May 2001 to October 2005, focusing on loan and deposit growth across 10 branches and mentoring Branch Managers. Rob began a career in finance as a District Manager at Wells Fargo Financial from January 1986 to May 2001, managing day-to-day operations of eight branches. Rob holds a BS in Business Management from Bradley University and completed the Graduate School of Banking program from 2007 to 2009.
