Ravi Kumar has extensive work experience in various leadership roles and technology-focused positions. Ravi is currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Product Head of DataNext Platform AI & Analytics at BUSINESSNEXT, where they are responsible for building a next-generation No Code Big Data Platform. Prior to this, they were an Advisor & Consultant for Stealth Mode Start-ups.
Ravi has also held the position of Senior Vice President of Data Science & Product Innovation at US Tech Solutions, where they led R&D, innovation, and technology platform development. Ravi played a key role in building a high performing team and defining the technology roadmap and AI strategy.
As the Co-Founder & CTO of rupeego, a fintech digital lending platform, Ravi headed product management and technology platform development. Ravi was involved in translating business requirements into platform requirements and spearheaded the architecture, design, and implementation of the platform.
Additionally, Ravi worked at Samsung R&D Institute India, where they served as the Domain Leader - Data Intelligence and Software Architect/Senior Chief Engineer. Ravi was responsible for product management, technology development, and innovation, and played a crucial role in setting up new domains and making technology roadmap and strategy.
Earlier in their career, Ravi held positions as Lead Engineer at Samsung India Software Centre, Software Engineer at ST Microelectronics Private Ltd, Embedded Software Engineer at nVidia Graphics Pvt Ltd, and Project Engineer at Wipro Technologies.
Overall, Ravi Kumar has gained a wide range of experience in product management, technology development, innovation, and leadership positions throughout their career.
Ravi Kumar completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra in the years 2000-2004. Ravi then pursued a Master of Science in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi starting in 2016. Prior to their higher education, Ravi attended Delhi Public School, Dhanbad for their 10+2 education level. In addition to their formal education, Ravi has obtained various certifications, such as Python for Data Science and Machine Learning Bootcamp from Udemy, Global Manager Leadership Course from Samsung Electronics, and several courses on machine learning and neural networks from Coursera. Furthermore, Ravi holds the certification of Certified SW Architect from Samsung Electronics, obtained in 2015.
