Alejandro Saenz

Alejandro Saenz has a strong background in software engineering and leadership roles. Alejandro started their career at Businessolver in 2009 as a Software Engineer, where they developed a chatbot that reduced wait times for benefits queries and achieved a 30% reduction in incoming phone calls. Alejandro then became a Tech Lead in 2014 and a Senior Technical Manager in 2017, responsible for hiring and developing a team that grew from 4 to 18 engineers. In their recent role as Director of Engineering, they oversee the technical aspects of the company, including the development of the virtual assistant Sofia, verification services, call center integration, and the company's mobile application. Prior to Businessolver, they served as an Onsite Leader at Youthworks in 2008.

Alejandro Saenz pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Science from Simpson College between 2006 and 2010. Alejandro then completed their Master's in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2019 to 2021. In addition to their formal education, Alejandro obtained certifications in Machine Learning from Coursera Course Certificates in October 2016 and in Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 7 Programmer from Oracle in May 2016.
