Jonathan Torres

Jonathan Torres is an experienced Backend Software Developer currently employed at BusPatrol since March 2021, following a role as a Software Developer Intern there. Prior to this position, Jonathan worked at the University of New Orleans from July 2019 to March 2021, where responsibilities included assisting students with debugging and understanding complex programming concepts, particularly in Java, C++, MIPS, and x86 Assembly. Jonathan also contributed to algorithm design using data structures for real-world problem-solving. Earlier, from January 2017 to August 2019, Jonathan served as a Consultation Agent at Geek Squad, providing technology solutions and support while ensuring a positive customer experience. Jonathan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics and Cybersecurity from the University of New Orleans, earned from 2017 to 2021.
