Ben Cwik has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ben began their career as a Pharmacy Technician at CVS Caremark Corporation from May 2005 to June 2007. Ben then worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Maryland from May 2010 to September 2010.

In 2011, Ben joined FactSet Research Systems as a Software Engineer. Ben played a crucial role in building and managing complex database systems for real-time and historical financial data. Ben also supported efficient data retrieval methods and performed data quality checks. During their time at FactSet, Ben was one of the more senior engineers on the Estimates team, collaborating with team members in London and Paris. Ben remained with the company until February 2015.

Following their tenure at FactSet, Ben joined Buster in May 2015 as the Lead Software Engineer. Buster is an online booking platform for group transportation. As the first hired in-house engineer, Ben played a key role in leading the technical development of the platform. Users could customize their trip itineraries, browse through available vehicles and prices, and book their trips instantly.

Ben Cwik attended Poolesville High School from 2004 to 2007. Ben then went on to study at the University of Maryland from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science.
