Martí Massot

Martí Massot has a diverse range of work experience in the field of mobility, innovation, and project management. Martí is currently working as an Innovation Manager at BUSUP, a role they started in October 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Reviewer at EUSPA - EU Agency for the Space Programme, where they reviewed innovation transport-related projects with an average budget of €1.2M.

Martí also has experience in academia, having served as a Guest Lecturer in Mobility and New Business Models at Esade since March 2022, and as a Guest Lecturer on Smart Mobility at UPC School (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) from 2018 to 2020.

In their previous roles, Martí was an Innovation Manager at EIT Urban Mobility, where they drove innovation processes and coordinated sustainable urban mobility projects. Martí also worked as a Smart Mobility Project Manager and Business Developer at RACC, where they were responsible for the development and management of R&D&I funding schemes and innovative mobility services.

Martí has a background in consultancy, having worked as an Innovation in Mobility Consultant at ENIDE, where they coordinated innovation proposals and participated in H2020 and FP7 projects in personal mobility and logistics. Martí also served as a Blue Book trainee at the European Commission's DG MOVE, Clean Transport and Sustainable Urban Mobility Unit, where they supported project evaluation and analysis of funding opportunities.

Earlier in their career, Martí worked as an Online Journalist and Map Designer at El Periódico de Catalunya and as a Mobility Planning Consultant at Enginyeria i Gestió d'Infraestructures, where they developed sustainable urban mobility plans and conducted transport demand studies.

Martí Massot began their education in 2004 at the Universitat de Barcelona, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Geography in 2009. Following this, they pursued further specialization in cartographic production and geographic information systems, earning a Master's degree from the same university in 2010. In 2019, Martí undertook the MBA essentials certificate course at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) to enhance their knowledge in Business Administration and Management. In 2020, they further expanded their expertise by enrolling in the Strategic Innovation program at Esade, focusing on Business Administration and Management in a general context.
