The history of the company started with his foundation in Neapolitan district, epicentre of high quality clothing production, in 1981, when Vincenzo Sorrentino opened a little factory specialized in production of woman clothing . Thanks to his intelligence in a short time Vincenzo got important successes, but only with
the arrival of the second generation, the company began his distinction in dynamic forces and entrepreneurship that allowed it to become a big name in Italian fashion. The transition from father to son happened in 2014, when 26 years old Mirko Sorrentino, and 30 years old Carmine Sorrentino, taken over the reins of the business, the first one like CEO and Fashion Director, and the second one like Production and Logistics manager. Mirko Sorrentino inherited the art of Fashion directly from his father Vincenzo that founded the Family Company in 1981. Streetwear taste, fashion rigour, attention to detail, all these are concepts assimilated from an early age. However, there are more important values like sense of sacrifice, courage and responsibility, that over the years have proved to be essential for his success. 
This is the context where Mirko Sorrentino reached adulthood by joining the company and taking full control of it at only 26 years. He puts a lot of his creative soul like president of ButNot S.r.l. Overseeing every phases of the business, from designing and creative development, to the final product and his distribution.
