Ryan Staab

Ryan Staab has extensive experience in the technology industry. Ryan is currently working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Butter Payments since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Visa for seven years as a Staff Software Engineer from March 2015 to February 2022. Before joining Visa, Ryan was employed at TrialPay as a Software Engineer from September 2014 to March 2015. Ryan also gained experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Veeva Systems from July 2013 to September 2013, where they developed internal developer tools for a Java-based web-application development team. Additionally, they worked as a Software Development Intern at Quintron in 2012, where they performed quality assurance and debugging for a windowed Java application for access control software.

Ryan Staab completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in the years 2012-2014. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Physics from UC Santa Barbara, studying from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, Ryan Staab has obtained additional certifications. In March 2021, they completed the course "TensorFlow: Advanced Techniques" offered by Coursera. In November 2020, they also obtained a certification in "Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs)" from Coursera.
