It's 2016 and ex-Rockpool chef Julian Cincotta joins up with a team of hospitality loving folk to open up a Surry Hills based joint that encapsulates all that they love. The vision? Work for the love of people, serve damn good fried chicken and play hip-hop beats as the punchy soundtrack.

After countless plates of wings served, drinks poured, events held and hip-hop artist visits from the likes of Post Malone to Wu-Tang Clan, today Butter remains at its iconic storefront as a Sydney staple.
