Lucy Lemons is the Chief People Officer at ButterflyMX. Lucy has over fifteen years of experience in Human Resources, and has held leadership positions at Numerated, WordStream, and TripAdvisor.

At Numerated, Lucy built a team with capabilities in business partnering, compensation planning, learning and development, performance management, equity & inclusion, talent acquisition, and office experience management. Lucy served as the Vice President of People from September 2020 to August 2021.

At WordStream, Lucy served as the Vice President of People Success. Lucy was the first executive-level HR leader at the company, and they led the evolution of the people team and practice from transactional support to strategic business function. Lucy built a team with capabilities in business partnering, compensation planning, learning and development, performance management, equity & inclusion, social impact, talent acquisition, and office experience management. Lucy was nominated for MassTLC's 2019 Chief People Officer of the Year.

At TripAdvisor, Lucy was the Director of People Operations (HR). Lucy oversaw all aspects of human resources for the company.

Before their work in Human Resources, Lucy was a Manager and Principal Business Partner at Forrester Research. In this role, they advised Forrester clients on organizational design and effectiveness, change management, leadership development, and HR strategy.
