Sophie E. has a diverse work experience. Sophie began their career in 2016 as an Internal Sales Coordinator at Ad Hoc Property Management. In 2019, they became a Socially Responsible Recruiter at SR2, an Ambassador for Women Rock - A Voice For Diversity In Tech., and a Co-Organiser for South West Test. In 2020, they joined Backbase as a Technical Recruiter and built a new Technology HQ in Bristol and bolstered the recruitment capabilities in the R&D hub in Cardiff. Sophie was also responsible for Meetups, D&I initiatives and Future Talent Scheme. In 2022, they joined Butternut Box as a Senior Tech Recruiter, where they are responsible for hiring dog mad engineers. Her stack includes Ruby on Rails, React, Heroku, GraphQL & React Native.
