Edward Monrad

Edward Monrad is currently the Head of Corporate Strategy at Optiver, where they lead a team responsible for market structure, post-trade initiatives, and corporate development across EMEA. With over 15 years of experience in liquidity provision and trading, Edward previously held significant roles in market making and product development at Optiver and other financial firms. In addition to their corporate responsibilities, they serve as a non-executive director for multiple FinTech companies and participate on advisory boards across Europe and North America. Edward also pursues a passion for outdoor activities as an International Mountain Leader, guiding trail running, hiking, and snowshoeing trips. They hold a BA in Statistics and Economics from Northwestern University.
