Eric Lu Hoffmann

Eric Lu Hoffmann is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in quantitative trading and investment. As the founder of PropTrading since January 2022, Hoffmann also serves as an investor at Pelican Trading and Strabo Financial Limited since September and May 2022, respectively, and as an investor for BUX and an angel investor since March 2021. Previously, Hoffmann worked as a quantitative trader at Two Sigma from October 2016 to March 2022, following an internship at Goldman Sachs and an earlier internship at Julius Baer. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Quantitative Finance from ETH Zürich and a Bachelor's degree in Volkswirtschaftslehre from the University of St.Gallen, supplemented by studies at Imperial College London.
