Neil Roberts has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Neil started their career as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Sunderland while studying for a PhD. Neil then worked as a Developer at Mott MacDonald before moving on to become a Team Leader/Consultant at CAST Systems, where they were involved in software development for spin-off companies. CAST Systems was later acquired by Skipton Building Society, where Neil continued to work as a Team Leader/Architect, developing credit checking software. Neil then joined Hexcel Corporation as an ERP Development Manager, leading a team in the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP system. Neil later transitioned to the role of Software and Technology Manager, focusing on system performance and DevOps for Dynamics AX. Neil also worked as a DevOps Manager, formalizing and expanding the DevOps work at Hexcel. Before joining Hexcel, Neil had a brief stint at Skipton Building Society (Group) as an internal IT Team Leader. Most recently, Neil worked at Britishvolt as a Senior Information Technology Architect, responsible for implementing major IT systems and working closely with the C-Suite and manufacturing directors. Neil is currently serving as the Head of Software Development at Buzzacott.

Neil Roberts attended the University of Sunderland from 1988 to 1992, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and Computing.
