Kate Costello is an experienced animator currently working at BuzzFeed as part of the Animation Lab, contributing to the project The Land of Boggs since January 2023. Prior to this role, Kate served as a Film Archivist at DiJiFi, where responsibilities included the archiving and digitization of films from the 1930s to the 1980s. Kate also gained teaching experience as a Saturday Studios Teaching Assistant at Massachusetts College of Art and Design and completed an Animation Internship at Block & Tackle LLC, where collaboration and creativity were encouraged. Kate holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, earned in 2020.
