Liza Hicks

Liza Hicks is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in content production and digital media. Currently serving as Head of Content at BuzzFeed since April 2017, Liza also operates as Supervising Producer and Host at CBC. Liza has contributed to the RDC Teen Video Intensive Summer Camp as Equipment Technician and Teaching Assistant since 2011. Previous roles include Digital Producer at CBC, Radio and Television Academic Link at Ryerson University, and various production positions at Aquila Productions and Birds of a Feather Media. Between 2007 and 2009, Liza worked as a freelance journalist for The Edmonton Sun and held a talent-related role at Darryl Mork Talent. Liza holds a degree from Ryerson University and is currently pursuing further education at the University of Westminster.
