Maria Angelos

Maria Angelos is an accomplished Art and Culture Journalist for The Huffington Post since September 2016 and a Community Contributor for BuzzFeed, contributing articles on topics such as the British Invasion and the effects of Brexit. Since July 2012, Maria has worked as a self-employed screenwriter, creating scripts in suspense, drama, and comedy, with a suspense film currently in production for submission to the TriBeCa Film Festival. Previously, Maria was a novelist specializing in comedy and coming-of-age stories. Educational qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts from The University of British Columbia, a Bachelor of Laws from The University of Manchester, and a Summer Programme in Economics from Cornell University.
