Prior to this position, Melissa held editorial leadership roles at Apartment Therapy Media and has extensive experience with BuzzFeed, including roles as a Senior Editor in both Food and Lifestyle categories. Additional experience includes positions at AOL/Huffington Post Media and LivingSocial, along with contributions to OC Weekly, The Press-Enterprise, KPBS, National Journal, and AOL. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Political Science from San Diego State University.
